We created this map with the illusion of 3D by applying Digital Elevation Data and meticulously adding shaded relief to the landscape of the original 1982 Minnesota Geological map. The shading is printed on the paper and not a result of the map protruding from the surface.

Please Note: Text on the map can be difficult to read due to the small font size and the age of the map. In areas where the relief shading covers the text, the underlying text is not legible. We suggest the largest size map for better details though the text may still be covered in the darker areas.

Every map is custom printed. We have no inventory. Only when we receive your order do we produce your print on our 12-color giclée printer, using top-quality archival inks that will never fade.

Of course, we can not account for everything that may occur during transit which can damage your order. Domestic Shipping:

All of our maps are printed to order so you receive a perfect print. Please allow following times to receive your order.

Paper Prints: 3-7 business days
Framed Paper Prints: 3-4 weeks
Canvas Gallery Wraps: 3-7 business days

International Shipping:

Yes, but we are only able to ship our paper prints. We do not ship the canvas gallery wraps or framed prints internationally at this time. Shipping costs are determined at checkout along with Duties/Taxes for your country. No more costs will be due upon delivery. We do not accept returns on International shipments.

RETURN POLICY

We stand by everything we print and will accept returns within 30 days of purchasing your Fine Art Paper print. There are NO restocking fees but return shipping costs are at the customer's expense. Returned prints must be in new condition and packaged as they were shipped. Any additional Shipping Insurance purchased in not refundable. Please email us at info@muir-way.comwith the order # to receive detailed instructions. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted and do not guarantee a refund.

Stunning map of my homeland (Minnesota)

These maps caught my eye in some online sidebar and I was instantly drawn to the innovation, warm colors, and stunning detail. Even in the thumbnail image. When I clicked on the MuirWay website I was blown away.

I purchased the Minnesota state map (my home state) as a Christmas gift for my new son-in-law, an engineer from Minneapolis. I was hoping he would enjoy the technical detail/geologic info and he did. For myself, the striking beauty and warm spirit of the illustration is plenty, from an aesthetic perspective!

The state map was surprisingly expensive, so I was not able to purchase the framed version. But my engineer son-in-law can no doubt afford that on his own.

I'd purchase another in a heartbeat, and may do so in the future. Bravo to the Muir-Way team for coming up with these products. Something truly new and valuable in a saturated consumer marketplace.
