We created this map with the illusion of 3D by applying Digital Elevation Data and meticulously adding shaded relief to the landscape of the original 1957 England and Scotland Geological map. The shading is printed on the paper and not a result of the map protruding from the surface.

This map is Sheet 1 of a two map set originally created by The Geological Survey in England

Please Note: Text on the map can be difficult to read due to the small font size and the age of the map. In areas where the relief shading covers the text, the underlying text is not legible. We suggest the largest size map for better details though the text may still be covered in the darker areas.

RETURN POLICY

We stand by everything we print and will accept returns within 30 days of purchasing your Fine Art Paper print. There are NO restocking fees but return shipping costs are at the customer's expense. Returned prints must be in new condition and packaged as they were shipped. Any additional Shipping Insurance purchased in not refundable. Please email us at info@muir-way.comwith the order # to receive detailed instructions. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted and do not guarantee a refund.

Another great map

I now have 3 maps from Muir Way and have been delighted with them all. My first, the UK geological map is on my office wall. The 2nd and 3rd, Europe and Scotland respectively are with a framer, all 3 maps will be moved to pride of place in the lounge.

These are truly excellent pieces of work and the 3D effect from a flat print is mesmerising!
