We created this map with the illusion of 3D by applying Digital Elevation Data and meticulously adding shaded relief to the landscape of the original 1956 Canada Geological map. The shading is printed on the paper and not a result of the map protruding from the surface.

Please Note: Text on the map can be difficult to read due to the small font size and the age of the map. In areas where the relief shading covers the text, the underlying text is not legible. We suggest the largest size map for better details though the text may still be covered in the darker areas.

Every map is custom printed. We have no inventory. Only when we receive your order do we produce your print on our 12-color giclée printer, using top-quality archival inks that will never fade.

RETURN POLICY

We stand by everything we print and will accept returns within 30 days of purchasing your Fine Art Paper print. There are NO restocking fees but return shipping costs are at the customer's expense. Returned prints must be in new condition and packaged as they were shipped. Any additional Shipping Insurance purchased in not refundable. Please email us at info@muir-way.comwith the order # to receive detailed instructions. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted and do not guarantee a refund.

Great maps

These Muir maps are the most informative maps I’ve found. I’ve been in the real estate business since 1980. I teach a college real estate course, occasionally. I used my Muir maps in the 2021 class.

Beautiful!

This map was a birthday present for a daughter who is studying in Australia. She was blown away by how beautiful it is. She is also interested to know about the company's connection with John Muir, co-founder of the Sierra Club, who spent part of his life in Canada (1864 - 1866).

Framed for my office

A beautiful map based on an amazing amount of geologic discovery, done in a way that raises it to the level of art. Professionally printed. I chose to have it framed locally. A subtle statement about reality on this planet, when so much said in the public square are lies and half truths.
