Yosemite National Park 1951 USGS Map
Brand Muir Way
USGS Topographic Map of Yosemite National Park in California from 1951 (Reproduction). It is a quadrant map which shows an area of land and includes a portion of the park.
Yosemite National Park encompasses over 760,000 acres of the Sierra Nevada mountain chain in California. It was established in 1890 and became a World Heritage Site in 1984. The majority of visitors come for the views of the steep granite cliffs in Yosemite Valley where you can see El Capitan, Half Dome, and dramatic waterfalls. Of course those are only a small portion of the unbelievable features of the park that was the catalyst for the National Park system.
