1904 Yellowstone Geologic Map
This map is a work of art. Beautifully done. I was amazed at how quickly it was shipped. I received it a couple of days after I ordered it.
At Muir Way, we believe in providing the utmost quality, design, and value.
We love old maps. Their coloration, typography, legends, notations, and sometimes even outdated place names all have a nostalgic quality that gives them a special beauty. If you share our love for vintage maps, you’ll appreciate this Geologic map of Yellowstone - National Park and Forest Preserve in our Historic Series.
This is a reproduction print of the 1904 Geologic map of the National Park and Forest Preserve of Yellowstone created by the USGS. The Geologist in charge of this work was Arnold Hague which was printed by Julies Bien and Co. The topography is shown with contour lines in 100-foot intervals, overlaid in color indicating 26 different rock types and faults.

We use real Walnut for our frames, unlike the lesser quality veneer you will typically find elsewhere. With beautiful hardwood grain, each is handmade to order at a professional frame shop.
Each map is produced on our 12-color gicleé printers using premium inks to ensure an intricately detailed, fade-free piece with amazing colors.
Museum-quality, 100% cotton, acid-free archival paper that’s rated to last 100+ years.
No pressed wood, no veneer. Every custom frame is handmade from real Walnut.
We individually print each order in our San Diego workshop. Even our paper is sourced from domestic manufacturers.
