Description
The Mt. Adams Tumbler is a handblown, 8 oz glass with USGS data of Mt. Adams - known as Pahto to the Yakama Nation - molded into the base of the glass. Each glass comes individually packaged and is proudly made by North Drinkware in the USA.
This glass features Mt. Adams rounding out our Washington Collection and is well known not just for its impressive altitude at 12,280 ft, but also for its deep spiritual and cultural significance to the Yakama people. According to indigenous legends, Mt. Adams, known as Pahto, was once involved in a fiery battle with neighboring Mt. St. Helens, hurling molten rocks in a jealous feud over the beautiful Mt. Hood. This age-old tale passed down by the tribes depicts Pahto as a symbol of strength and endurance in the face of adversity.
Made and designed by North Drinkware in Portland, Oregon our glasses are lead-free and dishwasher safe. All glasses are handmade one-of-a-kind products that may have slight variations.
