Fine Art Paper Print – 8.5 x 11 Inch

Please allow 3-7 days for unframed prints and 3-4 weeks for framed prints

Originally published in the 1884 edition of the "The Fisheries and Fishery Industries of the United States", this reproduction print of the Stone Crab was drawn by H.L. Todd. It was part of the first book in a multi-volume series produced by George Brown Goode, the famed ichthyologist (fish scientist), Smithsonian museum administrator, and U.S. Fish Commissioner. He managed a large staff of scientists, researchers, and clerical employees to produce this monumental work on American Fisheries.  We are happy to make available the amazingly detailed drawings included in the first volume of the series as reproduction prints.

        The perfect gift.

Shopping with Muir Way was an incredibly easy, user friendly way of gift shopping. When I received the prints,(I bought 6) I was surprised how they looked so much like pen and ink originals. My spouses favorite gift to date came from Muir Way

        Stone crab illustration

I’m a marine scientist constantly in search of cool, non-gimmicky art involving animals. These prints are just that, and valued quite well. I’ve got a couple in my office and get a lot of compliments.
