Made from combining 6 historic USGS topographic maps together with modern elevation data, our Shenandoah Relief map will captivate you with its endless details that appear to pop off the paper, adding depth and dimension to the vintage maps.

We selected maps from different years throughout the early 1900s that were digitally patched together, creating a composite that encompasses the entire park. Once merged, a mosaic of the topographic maps was formed from the different colors and styles of the individual maps. The map comes to life with the addition of hillshading derived from advanced elevation data that gives the landscape a 3-dimensional appearance. Lastly, we overlaid the current boundary of the park in red, which oftentimes differ from the older versions of the park borders that appear on the vintage USGS maps used.

Of course, we can not account for everything that may occur during transit which can damage your order. All of our maps are printed to order so you receive a perfect print. Please allow following times to receive your order.

Paper Prints: 3-7 business days
Framed Paper Prints: 3-4 weeks
Canvas Gallery Wraps: 3-7 business days

International Shipping:

Yes, but we are only able to ship our paper prints. We do not ship the canvas gallery wraps or framed prints internationally at this time. Shipping costs are determined at checkout along with Duties/Taxes for your country. No more costs will be due upon delivery. We do not accept returns on International shipments.

RETURN POLICY

We stand by everything we print and will accept returns within 30 days of purchasing your Fine Art Paper print. There are NO restocking fees but return shipping costs are at the customer's expense. Returned prints must be in new condition and packaged as they were shipped. Any additional Shipping Insurance purchased in not refundable. Please email us at info@muir-way.comwith the order # to receive detailed instructions. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted and do not guarantee a refund.

Beautiful vintage map-art

I ordered this topographic map comprised of vintage maps of Shenandoah National Park as a birthday gift for a close friend and hiking partner. It did not disappoint. Although the text on the map is virtually microscopic, the topographic detail is fascinating. And the quality of the piece, including the wood frame, is exceptional.
