Redwood National Park 1945 USGS Map
USGS Topographic Map of Redwood National Park California from 1945 (Reproduction). It is a quadrant map which shows an area of land and includes a portion of the park.
Established in 1968, Redwood National Park is located on the northern coast of California. It is home to the old growth coast Redwoods, the world's tallest trees which grow to over 300 feet tall and live up to 2,000 years. By the time the park was established, over 90% of the old growth Redwoods had been logged over the previous century. The Redwood National Park now protects around 40,000 acres of coastal Redwood forest along with its indigenous flora, fauna, grassland prairie, and pristine coastline.
