During the early 1870's, William Henry Jackson documented Yellowstone as part of the Hayden Survey expeditions for the USGS. His photography was used, in part, to help lobby Congress to pass the Yellowstone National Park Act of 1872. These important images were taken from 1871 to 1872 and eventually published in the book "Photographs of the Yellowstone National Park and Views of Montana and Wyoming Territories".

This is a reproduction print of the highest quality printed on heavyweight archival paper and inks.

We stand by everything we print and will accept returns within 30 days of purchasing your Fine Art Paper print. There are NO restocking fees but return shipping costs are at the customer's expense. Returned prints must be in new condition and packaged as they were shipped. Any additional Shipping Insurance purchased in not refundable. Please email us at info@muir-way.comwith the order # to receive detailed instructions. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted and do not guarantee a refund.

Great Quality - Pro Prints

Found this old USGS photo and it just really spoke to me because I grew up in Ogden and recognize those mountains so very well. Had it framed locally but the print itself is outstanding and my 3rd Muir Way purchase. More to come, for sure.
