We love old maps. Their coloration, typography, legends, notations, and sometimes even outdated place names all have a nostalgic quality that gives them a special beauty. If you share our love for vintage maps, you’ll appreciate this map of the Olympic Forest Reserve from 1899.
The USGS made this map illustrating the Land Classifications of the reserve with boundaries and colors.
We consider these maps to be works of art, so we print and frame them accordingly. We offer two choices of print surfaces: fine-art archival paper and stretched canvas. Fine art paper prints do not come framed unless you add a frame to your order.
Every map is custom printed. We have no inventory. Only when we receive your order do we produce your print on our 12-color giclée printer, using top-quality archival inks that will never fade.
Fine Art Paper- Our archival paper is museum-quality, 100% cotton, acid-free, and certified to last 100 years. This assures sharp details, true colors, and exceptional durability. Does not come framed unless you add a frame to your order.
Canvas Gallery Wrap-If you prefer a frameless look, order your map on stretched canvas, which offers a bit more depth and texture. We use archival canvas, gallery-wrapped and varnished, stretched onto a 1.5-inch-thick wood frame.
Every print is made to order in a timely manner and packaged with care.
