Brand Muir Way
USGS Topographic Map of Joshua Tree National Park in California from 1963 (Reproduction). It is a quadrant map which shows an area of land and includes a portion of the park.
Joshua Tree National Park is located on almost 800,000 acres in southern California and was created in 1936. It was originally a National Monument but was changed to a National Park in 1994. Its name comes from the native Joshua Tree forests found throughout the park. The park is known for its 1000's of rock climbing routes and dark night skies perfect for stargazing.
