A reproduction print of the Chrysomitris Psaltria, or Arizona Goldfinch and Arkansas Goldfinch, from the "Report upon United States Geographical Surveys, West of the 100th Meridian" by George M. Wheeler.  The US Army Corps of Engineers surveyed over 361,000 square miles from 1869 to 1879 in pursuit of creating a detailed topographic map of the West. Wheeler's monumental work was published in 7 volumes from 1875 to 1889. The original lithographic print was prepared as part of the survey and was published in volume 5 of the collection in 1875.

Exactly what we were looking for!

My husband and I had been searching for a fish print similar to the one we found for years. So glad we stumbled upon them after learning about them from an REI associate. We plan to order more since the process was so easy and shipping was quick!

    What's not to like?

Every aspect of the purchase was very simple and to the point. I was emailed all pertinent info and kept in the loop until it arrived in perfect condition. The print is timeless and holds great historical significance. It is going on the wall and a portion of the proceeds are going to a good cause. What is not to like about any of that?
