Description
The "Future Map of the World" was created by Gordon Michael Scallion, an electronics consultant from New Hampshire. This cartographic vision emerged from what he described as "intense dreams followed by daytime visions." Scallion catalogued the geological and environmental changes he saw and believed would reshape our planet. He feared these changes would be brought about by a lack of consideration of humanity's technological impact and environmental mismanagement.
Serving as a unique piece of speculative cartography and a thought-provoking perspective on Earth's potential future, this reproduction has been carefully remastered from a high-resolution digital scan of the original 2006 map. We preserved every detail while ensuring museum-quality printing standards on premium archival paper in our San Diego facility.
Please Note: This map represents one individual's prophetic vision and is intended as a historical artifact and conversation piece. Not intended for navigation or scientific reference.
