Dallas, TX 1958 USGS Map

We love old maps. Their coloration, typography, legends, notations, and sometimes even outdated place names all have a nostalgic quality that gives them a special beauty. If you share our love for vintage maps, you’ll appreciate this 1958 Dallas, TX USGS Map in our Historic Series. In remastering maps for this series, we go to great pains to clean them up, eliminating stains, stamps, handwriting, and other signs of map aging. We then rework them into easily framable sizes and bring out the richness of their colors and details. Because we print them on fine archival paper and canvas, all their original beauty shines through. Browse our extensive collection of parks, cities, states, and more. It’s like traveling in a cartographic time machine.

    • Made in the USA

We consider our maps to be works of art, so we print and frame them accordingly. We offer two choices of print surfaces: fine-art archival paper and stretched canvas.

Every map is custom printed. We have no inventory. Only when we receive your order do we produce your print on our 12-color giclée printer, using top-quality archival inks that will never fade.

Fine Art Paper-Our archival paper is museum-quality, 100% cotton, acid-free, and certified to last 100 years. This assures sharp details, true colors, and exceptional durability.

Canvas Gallery Wrap-If you prefer a frameless look, order your map on stretched canvas, which offers a bit more depth and texture. We use archival canvas, gallery-wrapped and varnished, stretched onto a 1.5-inch-thick wood frame.

Frame- Our thin hardwood frames are handmade from real Maple or Walnut, not pressed wood with veneer. Prints will come mounted behind a clear acrylic, with mounting hardware attached to it. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your frame to arrive.

      Beautiful historical map!

This map was a gift to a family member who has visited Yosemite several times. We thought the quality was outstanding. The colors and feel take you back, to a time before impressive but impersonal digital maps.

      View of a different era

Purchased this framed for a son completing his graduate studies at UT Austin. Thought it would be a nice keepsake for future years. It provides an interesting contrast between small-town Austin, which no longer exists, and the enduring land forms.

      Jared made it happen!

I had an amazing experience with Muir Way. Jared worked with me to help find the perfect gift for my brother-in-law and helped make sure it made it to him in time for Christmas. I highly recommend their maps and overall experience.
