excellent detail of the Boston area (1939) that shows how much the city has changed
the map is printed on quality paper stock and the detail of the streets, neighborhoods, and waterways around Boston make it fun to locate your favorite places in the area. Because it is an older map (1939) it shows the changes that have happened in the Boston area in the last 80 years...some places have really changed! I look forward to keeping it framed in my living room for years to come!
Unique and a great engagement present
My fiance and I have two prints of different mountain where we met and now live! I also purchased a Boston print for my close friends who just got engaged.
I got this map/print for my mom, who's from Boston. I also got the Detroit one for my dad's hometown. Both maps are beautiful. Great detail, luscious lines and colors. I especially like this one with its mazy streets and waterways. It's amazing to get a sense for how much Boston and its suburbs have changed over the years. The suburbs used to really be the boonies. Overall I'm really happy with Muir Way. The shipping was prompt and well protected, it came with free stickers, and the purchase helps support the Sierra Club.
