Alaska Sculpin and Southern Sculpin

Originally published in the 1884 edition of the "The Fisheries and Fishery Industries of the United States", this reproduction print of the Alaska Sculpin and Southern Sculpin was drawn by H.L. Todd. It was part of the first book in a multi-volume series produced by George Brown Goode, the famed ichthyologist (fish scientist), Smithsonian museum administrator, and U.S. Fish Commissioner. He managed a large staff of scientists, researchers, and clerical employees to produce this monumental work on American Fisheries.  We are happy to make available the amazingly detailed drawings included in the first volume of the series as reproduction prints.

Alaska Sculpin and Southern Sculpin

I enjoyed both the experience and product recieved from Muir Way of the Alaska Southern Sculpin and the Sculpin as well as the California Rock Crab.I have never fished in Alaska and now that I have retired hope to check this off my things to due when I finally get bought money and time to vist this great state.I’m even more pleased that this purchese will add to the Sierra Club and its fundings.I am an avid out door explorer of Colorado’s outdoors and encourage all within ear shot to get out there and explore.
