Mexico City Map 1886

1886 Mexico City Map

Created by the Debray Sucesores Firm, this map of Mexico City was a general plan of administrative divisions. It was part of a long sequence of lithographed maps by the Debray Firm that was constantly updated with new tourist attractions, mining, railroads, buildings, landmarks, and street names.

This reproduction print was carefully remastered from a digital scan of the original map from 1886.

    • Made in the USA

We consider these maps to be works of art, so we print and frame them accordingly. We offer two choices of print surfaces: fine-art archival paper and stretched canvas. Fine art paper prints do not come framed unless you add a frame to your order.

Every map is custom printed. We have no inventory. Only when we receive your order do we produce your print on our 12-color giclée printer, using top-quality archival inks that will never fade.

Fine Art Paper- Our archival paper is museum-quality, 100% cotton, acid-free, and certified to last 100 years. This assures sharp details, true colors, and exceptional durability. Does not come framed unless you add a frame to your order.

Frames - Add a frame to your order and your Fine Art Paper print will come mounted.

Canvas Gallery Wrap-If you prefer a frameless look, order your map on stretched canvas, which offers a bit more depth and texture. We use archival canvas, gallery-wrapped and varnished, stretched onto a 1.5-inch-thick wood frame.
