Our range series of maps brings mountains to life in a way that map lovers will applaud; through USGS-sourced contour lines and bodies of water, rendered with extreme detail. The Sierra Nevada Range Map covers this California mountain range from the Oregon border in the north, to Tehachapi in the south. This map includes famous natural wonders like Lassen Volcanic, Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon National Parks.
The overall visual effect is beautiful topography, represented in exquisite detail. Up close, you step into the mountains, where you can identify summits, canyons, valleys, rivers, and lakes. No towns, roads, or human features, other than the Pacific Crest Trail and John Muir Trails, are included to keep the landforms as nature intended.
To construct this map, we used the borders provided by the Sierra Nevada Conservancy, which does not include the Lake Tahoe region. We feel this is the most accurate representation of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range.
We believe our Range Series is absolutely unique. Nothing like this has been attempted before: vast mountain landscapes as works of topographical art.

We use real Walnut for our frames, unlike the lesser quality veneer you will typically find elsewhere. With beautiful hardwood grain, each is handmade to order at a professional frame shop.
Each map is produced on our 12-color gicleé printers using premium inks to ensure an intricately detailed, fade-free piece with amazing colors.
Museum-quality, 100% cotton, acid-free archival paper that’s rated to last 100+ years.
No pressed wood, no veneer. Every custom frame is handmade from real Walnut.
We individually print each order in our San Diego workshop. Even our paper is sourced from domestic manufacturers.

I ordered the Sierra Nevada topographic map and was blown away by the quality. The map itself is stunning with an impressive level of detail for such a large region. The natural wood frame is very well-crafted and really compliments the map. I would highly recommend this product to any and all mountain lovers.

This is a Christmas gift for my husband who is an avid backpacker and absolutely loves the grand sierras. The quality exceeded my expectations. My one regret? I did not order it framed. BIG MISTAKE!!! It is very hard to get a 24" X 30" wall frame. 24 X 36 is most common. Either purchase it with the frame or on a canvas.

Excellent map and just as expected from the info on the website. I love the fact that there are no labels, roads, towns, etc. What's keeping me from an overall 5* is the fact that the uncolored Lake Tahoe is a bit more distracting to me than expected. I also would prefer if the PCT was not marked outside the range, i.e. in the white space.
