We created this map with the illusion of 3D by applying Digital Elevation Data and meticulously adding shaded relief to the landscape of the original 1881 Italy Geological map. The shading is printed on the paper and not a result of the map protruding from the surface.

Please Note: Text on the map can be difficult to read due to the small font size and the age of the map. In areas where the relief shading covers the text, the underlying text is not legible. We suggest the largest size map for better details though the text may still be covered in the darker areas.

Every map is custom printed. We have no inventory. Only when we receive your order do we produce your print on our 12-color giclée printer, using top-quality archival inks that will never fade.

All of our maps are printed to order so you receive a perfect print. Please allow following times to receive your order.

Paper Prints: 3-7 business days
Framed Paper Prints: 3-4 weeks
Canvas Gallery Wraps: 3-7 business days

International Shipping:

Yes, but we are only able to ship our paper prints. We do not ship the canvas gallery wraps or framed prints internationally at this time. Shipping costs are determined at checkout along with Duties/Taxes for your country. No more costs will be due upon delivery. We do not accept returns on International shipments.

RETURN POLICY

We stand by everything we print and will accept returns within 30 days of purchasing your Fine Art Paper print. There are NO restocking fees but return shipping costs are at the customer's expense. Returned prints must be in new condition and packaged as they were shipped. Any additional Shipping Insurance purchased in not refundable. Please email us at info@muir-way.comwith the order # to receive detailed instructions. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted and do not guarantee a refund.

When science and technology meet, art is born

I really like the quality of the paper and the print. I still have to find a good frame because of the non standard size, but from what I've seen the colors are just slightly darker than on the web version, but it's beautiful and perfectly readable. It's a work of art, a relaxing and fascinating portrait of my home country. Shipment was really fast (unfortunately there were some import taxes but I had foreseen it, maybe a "gift" label on the packaging would solve this problem) and the only thing I would say it can be improved is that the borders of the print were a little scuffed up, nothing relevant and maybe that will be hidden by the frame, but that I thing can be improved maybe.

Map is gorgeous, one of their Best and Italy has such an iconic Geography.

I ordered the map in both sizes and I love them both. Made with extreme precision with beautiful colours. The 3D effect is also well made. Looks vintage compared to other physical map and its paper is very prone to damage by scratch or from other objects that it may come into contact with. Because of this I warmly recommend to protect the map behind a glass or transparent plastic cover.

If I had the luck to live in the US I would order more maps from them.
