John Muir Trail Map Wall Art

The John Muir Trail follows 211 miles through the heart of the Sierra Nevada, from Yosemite Valley to the summit of Mount Whitney — the highest peak in the contiguous United States. Muir Way was named for John Muir, the naturalist and conservationist who first explored and championed this wilderness.

Our JMT map collection features topographic relief art and elevation prints capturing the dramatic granite terrain, glacial lakes, and 14,000-foot passes of the High Sierra. Each map is a piece of wall art that celebrates the landscape Muir called "the Range of Light."

About John Muir and the Sierra Nevada

John Muir (1838–1914) founded the Sierra Club in 1892 and was instrumental in establishing Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks. The trail bearing his name was completed in 1938, following the high route he pioneered through terrain he described as "a place of rest and poetry and light."

Every Muir Way map sold contributes to conservation organisations protecting the land John Muir loved — because we believe the landscapes that inspire us deserve to be preserved.
