Description

The Mount St. Helens Pint is a handblown, 16 oz pint glass with USGS data of Mount St. Helens at  8,363 ft molded into the base of the glass. Each glass comes individually packaged and is proudly made by North Drinkware in the USA.

The Mount St. Helens major eruption of May 18, 1980 remains the deadliest and most destructive volcanic events in U.S. history. Fifty-seven people were killed; 200 homes, 47 bridges, 15 miles of railways, and 185 miles of highway were destroyed. A massive debris avalanche, triggered by a magnitude 5.1 earthquake, caused a lateral eruption that reduced the elevation of the mountain's summit from 9,677 ft to 8,363 ft , leaving a 1 mile wide horseshoe-shaped crater, all captured in this glass. The mountain is still actively monitored to today by USGS and many others.

Made and designed by North Drinkware in Portland, Oregon these glasses are lead-free and dishwasher safe. All glasses are handmade one-of-a-kind products that may have slight variations.
