Utah Territory 1876 Map

We love old maps. Their coloration, typography, legends, notations, and sometimes even outdated place names all have a nostalgic quality that gives them a special beauty. If you share our love for vintage maps, you’ll appreciate this 1876 Utah Territory Map in our Historic Series.

This map was made from official records of the General Land Office and other sources by C. Roeser, Principal Draughtsman G.L.O. Photolith. & Print by Julius Bien in 1876.

    • Made in the USA

We consider these maps to be works of art, so we print and frame them accordingly. We offer two choices of print surfaces: fine-art archival paper and stretched canvas. Fine art paper prints do not come framed unless you add a frame to your order.

Every map is custom printed. We have no inventory. Only when we receive your order do we produce your print on our 12-color giclée printer, using top-quality archival inks that will never fade.

Fine Art Paper-Our archival paper is museum-quality, 100% cotton, acid-free, and certified to last 100 years. This assures sharp details, true colors, and exceptional durability.

Frame- Our thin hardwood frames are handmade from real Maple or Walnut, not pressed wood with veneer. Prints will come mounted behind a clear acrylic, with mounting hardware attached to it. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your frame to arrive.

Canvas Gallery Wrap-If you prefer a frameless look, order your map on stretched canvas, which offers a bit more depth and texture. We use archival canvas, gallery-wrapped and varnished, stretched onto a 1.5-inch-thick wood frame.

      Awesome piece of history!

I got this map as a birthday present for my boyfriend as he is both a lover of history and of California, so of course, he loved this too! It's so cool to see all of the details and differences between then and now, especially from a print of an actual map from 1876! Also love that supporting this brand supports organizations that we also support, such as the Sierra Club. Will definitely be a returning customer in the future :)

      Excellent piece

Exceptional quality and came packaged very securely. Shipped quickly as well. Looks great hanging in my office. Larger size is tricky to find frames for however, somewhat non standard dimensions.
