One of my favorite parks and the first map I designed for Muir Way, Yosemite National Park turns 150 today. Back in 1864, Abraham Lincoln signed the Yosemite Grant which saved this beautiful peace of land in Mariposa County and also laid the groundwork for future National Parks. Not only did it provide the foundation for National Parks in the United States but also for the rest of the world. If you've never been than you should put Yosemite at the top of your list of places to go.
