As with the 1883 map, I find this fascinating. I'm a native Californian and a history buff, so this is right up my alley. This is from 26 years after statehood, when the bulk of the population lived in the northern half of the state.
I love all the maps that I've purchased so far. Hope to buy more when I get more money!

We love old maps. Their coloration, typography, legends, notations, and sometimes even outdated place names all have a nostalgic quality that gives them a special beauty. If you share our love for vintage maps, you’ll appreciate this 1876 Idaho Territory Map in our Historic Series.
This map was made from official records of the General Land Office and other sources by C. Roeser, Principal Draughtsman G.L.O. Photolith. & Print by Julius Bien in 1876.
