Incredible Detail
I ordered the large 38" x 32" size and I am in love. We have it hanging on a main wall in our living room and it's the centerpiece of our home. The print quality is fantastic, colors are excellent and accurate, and the small fonts are mostly easy to read. The Index of Private Land Grants section in the bottom left can be tricky to read unless you're really close as it's very small font, but still legible, at least 38" x 32".
I do wish some of the national parks were a little bit more noticeable, particularly Yosemite, but that's just the vintage map that was used so no fault of Muir Way's. As others have mentioned, details in the Sierra can be hard to read as they are in the shadows, but the overall map looks amazing.
NOTE ON FRAMING: Muir Way's frames, in my opinion, are excessively costly. They charge over $400 for it framed. I suppose shipping plays a role, but I decided to go in a different direction. I used a website called frameiteasy.com (not sponsored by them at all, just liked their custom frames) and saved over $200 that way. I went with the Dayton Frame in Cocoa with the non-glare acrylic and really like how it came out. To me, it looks identical to Muir Way's "walnut" frame. Hope this helps some others out there.
