Paper Print - Factory Seconds
These prints have minor imperfections but are otherwise beautiful and printed to last. We are offering these at a deep discount. Inventory is very limited and will not be replenished.
Defects may include:
-Minor scuffs or creasing around the edges of the print
-Slight discolorations or tiny ink spots
-Printed at a size we do not normally carry
-Border widths that were not cut correctly
We created this map with the illusion of 3D by applying Digital Elevation Data and meticulously adding shaded relief to the landscape of the original 1922 South America map. The shading is printed on the paper and not a result of the map protruding from the surface.
Please Note: Text on the map can be difficult to read due to the small font size and the age of the map. In areas where the relief shading covers the text, the underlying text is not legible. We suggest the largest size map for better details though the text may still be covered in the darker areas.

I was very happy with the shaded relief map, as it looks identical to a relief map from a distance, and the color was great, and not faded. Also, the quality of the print was really nice, and it arrived very nicely packaged. Overall, I am a very happy customer with everything!

I’ve traveled fairly extensively in South America; Brazil 12 trips, Colombia, Uruguay, Argentina. My Uruguayan guide and I drove from Mendoza to Ushuaia. El Calafate! Once I flew over the upper Amazon during the day. This map provides a new insight into this continent. I love this map. As soon as things open up I’ll go back and we’ll do the northern part of Hwy 40 from Mendoza north. Can’t wait. I sent a screen saved image of this map to my guide and Brazilian friends.
